Australia skipper Alyssa Healy has risen back to the top five in the latest ICC rankings for women. The shift happened after she played a match-winning knock of 70 in the first ODI against England in North Sydney Oval.
Healy is currently leading the Australian side in a white-ball series against England. The Aussies have won the first two ODIs and the series in the process. England need to come back strongly to not get whitewashed in the series.

The list is led by Laura Wolvaardt (773) followed by Chamari Athapaththu (773), Smriti Mandhana (723) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (707).
The ODI series is a part of the Women's Ashes 2025 between the two sides. The one-off Ashes Test will be played in Melbourne from January 30-February 2.
Talking about the top-ranked all-rounders, South Africa's Marizanne Kapp leads the list with 444 rating points. She is followed by Ashleigh Gardner with 436 points followed by Haley Mathews with 401 points.
Talking about the top ODI bowlers, England's Sophie Ecclestone leads the list with 779 rating points followed by Aussie pair Ashleigh Gardner (722) and Megan Schutt (690) who swapped places courtesy of a brilliant outing for the latter (3/19) in the first game against England.

The third ODI between Australia and England will be played on Friday with England looking to avoid a whitewash. Australia won the first ODI by four wickets and the second by 21 runs with Alana King taking four wickets in the second game.
Australia managed to defend their total of 180 with King spinning out the opposition. Skipper Alyssa Healy was quick to acknowledge the effort of her bowlers in her post-match comments.
"A tremendous game of cricket. Was a serious effort from the bowlers. Our bowlers did an outstanding job, there was enough in the wicket. They created pressure (by bowling in the right areas) and the fielders held on to those chances. We speak about hanging in there in the contest and create opportunities. We need to put up a more complete performance together at Hobart" Healy said after the match.
