KL Rahul & Abhishek Porel (33) got Delhi Capitals (DC) off to a solid start against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing 17th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Opting to bat first after winning the toss, DC got off to an inauspicious start as Jake Fraser-McGurk was dismissed for a duck.
CSK's power play enforcer Khaleel Ahmed struck in just his fifth ball and got his team to a dream start. However, CSK could not make further inroads in the power play, as Porel targeted Mukesh Chaudhary for 19 runs in his first over.

That over, got DC going, and Porel, in company of Rahul started attacking Chaudhary, and Khaleel. Just when Porel was looking set for a big score, he got out to Ravindra Jadeja. Nonetheless, Rahul is ensuring DC do not lose further wickets. Skipper Axar Patel has walked in at four, and is looking in fine nick.
Momentum with DC, Noor Ahmad key for CSK
Axar took on Jadeja and Ashwin and made his intentions very clear. However, it is to be seen how Axar, as well as Rahul, deal with CSK's trump card Noor Ahmad. The Afghan spinner has been absolutely superb so far for the yellow brigade. He has taken nine wickets so far in three overs and has proven to be a game-changer for CSK.
DC will be banking on Axar, Rahul, and Tristan Stubbs to play Noor well, as they will be looking to post a 180 plus total.
