Priyansh Arya Unleashes IPL Form, Slams Third DPL Hundred

Priyansh Arya produced a batting masterclass in the 12th match of the Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL 2025) on Friday, hammering 111 runs off just 56 balls for Outer Delhi Warriors against East Delhi Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The left-hander hit seven fours and nine sixes. He reached his hundred in only 52 balls. This was his third century in DPL history.

Arya came into the tournament after a brilliant India Premier League (IPL) season with Punjab Kings (PBKS). He scored 475 runs at a strike-rate of 179.25 in the tournament and played an important role in their run to the final.

He was also the top run-scorer in the previous DPL edition, making 608 runs with two centuries. After a quiet start this year in DPL 2025 that saw him fail in the first three games, he bounced back in style and smashed a ton.

Both batters punished anything loose. Even after Garg departed after scoring 43 runs off 24 balls, Arya continued to dominate. By the 17th over, Arya brought up his century and marked his return to form.

Outer Delhi Warriors Post Mammoth Total

Arya eventually fell to Akhil Chaudhary in the 18th over while trying to up the scoring rate. But by then, the damage had been done.

His 111-run blitz formed the backbone of Outer Delhi Warriors’ total of 231/5 in 20 overs.
