South Africa will take on Australia in the third edition of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final on Wednesday, June 11, at the Mecca of cricket, Lord's Cricket Ground. Both teams have had good training sessions at the Lord's and are raring to play the summit clash. Australia are the defending champions and starts this year's WTC 2025 Final also as overwhelming favorites. Pat Cummins & Co. have a knack of winning ICC titles, as the team always thrives under pressure moments.

On the other hand, South Africa always finds a way to botch up in clutch moments. They have won only one ICC Trophy event in 1998. Whenever the Proteas play an ICC semis or final match, inevitably C word starts doing the round. However, skipper Temba Bavuma has gracefully accepted the fact and is ready to take on the Aussies as an underdog team. The odds are against South Africa, but Cummins & Co. can ill afford to take them lightly as the year 2025 has been the year of glorious uncertainties in sports so far.

SA vs AUS: Lord's Stadium Pitch Report

Over the past two years, the Lord's surface has been pretty good for bowling. In this year's County games, the teams bowling first have won all four games. However, as per the CricBuzz report, the pitch to be used for the SA vs AUS WTC 2025 Final will have a brownish tinge rather than a green one. It would be a dry surface, with the pitch slightly favoring the batters more.
