The West Indies vs Pakistan white-ball series moves onto the ODIs after The Men in Green managed to win the T20I series 2-1. The three-match ODI series will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad, with the first game on August 8 from 11:30 PM IST.
Shai Hope continues to lead the West Indies in the ODIs after the T20I series that he unfortunately lost. He will be looking to make up for it by winning the ODI series. Captaincy changes hands for Pakistan as Mohammad Rizwan returns as the ODI skipper.
Left-handed opener Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the ODI series due to an injury. Meanwhile, the ODI series will be important for Babar Azam as he returns to the side after missing out from the T20I series. His average and strike rate in ODIs has dipped considerably since the start of 2022.
