UP Warriorz (UPW) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Saturday, March 08, at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The UPW became the first team to be out of the WPL 2025 season after they succumbed to a fifth loss against MI. UPW has played seven games so far and has won just two games. However, the last of those victories came against RCB via super over. That should give UPW some confidence.

However, ever since returning to Lucknow, UPW's fortunes have nosedived with two massive losses against GG and MI. On all of UPW's five losses, their batting has them let them down. None of their top five battres are in leading run scores list in WPL 2025. Skipper Deepti Sharma has faltered big time after bagging MVP in the WPL 2024 season.

Also, with four loses in six games, RCB's playoffs hopes are hanging by a thread. This is a do-or-die match, and if they lose then it would be difficult for RCB to make the playoffs.
